Duraflex 'explores' new Health & Safety initative

Supporting charities is something which has always been very important for Duraflex. Over the years they have supported both local and national charities alike, and as the company has grown, the support is now extending to initiatives in the local community.

One such example is a recent donation of £285.00 to local playgroup Little Explorers. This was presented to the company in order for three members of staff to receive paediatric first aid training, skills which are invaluable in any environment with small children.

The Masco Corporation, which Duraflex is a part of, has a long standing commitment to help projects and groups which support the communities of all their employees, as Rachel Rolfe, HR Manager for Duraflex, explains below

“As a mother with a young daughter at playgroup, I felt supporting the staff Little Explorers was so important. The skills gained during this training are not only vital in the workplace, but are transferable into everyday life. As a company, Duraflex invest a great deal of time and money into ensuring our workplace is as safe as it can possibly be, so to work with Little Explorers to improve their own Health and Safety policies was a great achievement for us”

Sharon Watkins, manager of Little Explorers adds “The health, safety and wellbeing of children at Little Explorers is of the highest priority. Thegenerous donation from Duraflex Ltd will enable us to keepour First Aid training right up to date ensuring that we continue to provide high quality care for our children”
