Duraflex Ltd is delighted to announce that their 2011 charity is Help for Heroes. Rachel Rolfe, HR Manager for Duraflex explains the reasons behind this choice.
“Here at Duraflex, we take the subject of raising money for charity very seriously. We also ensure that all decisions made are as a whole company. We gave all personnel the opportunity to nominate a charity, then held a vote based on these nominations. The response for Help for Heroes really encouraging and we know it’s a cause that is close to many people’s hearts.
There are already a number of charity events scheduled for 2011, including a Horseracing evening, a Summer raffle and a quiz night, and with several members of staff already signed up for a local half marathon, I am confident we can exceed the fantastic total raised in 2010”
Last years charity was Cancer Research and a whopping £3,285.00 was raised
